Asana
Asana is one of the 8 limbs of yoga. Asana translates to “posture” and is derived from the Sanskrit root “to stay” or “to be”. Individuals commonly know yoga only for the Asana portion in which a sequence of physical postures are aimed at building strength and stamina physically, mentally and spiritually.
You can yield physical results from practicing Asana in the following ways: increased flexibility and muscle strength, increased energy and vitality, and improved circulatory health. Practicing Asana can be beneficial for the mind in the following ways: reduced stress, alleviated anxiety, better sleep, and improved quality of life.
Personally, Asana has given me the ability to breathe with fluidity. The practice of yoga, and in particular Asana, has had a profound impact on my overall health and it truly has been worth practicing every day. We all carry our breath in every moment. How do you want to carry yours for the rest of your life?

When practiced regularly you reap so many benefits, such as reduced stress and anxiety, improved self-image and positive outlooks on life as well as a stronger sense of self-awareness.
There are several techniques when it comes to mediation. You don’t have to sit still for endless amounts of hours if that’s not for you. You can try different methods that are considered meditations to find the right one for you! For example, meditations can include visualizations in which you create mental images intended for a specific purpose or you can do a walking meditation that involves movement. There are also several techniques to meditate with, such as a body scan meditation or a breath awareness meditation.
Essential Oils
Essential oils are a form of alternative medicine that uses plant extracts, such as leaves, herbs, barks, and rinds, to support health and well-being. For centuries these natural, incredible oils have been around to capture plants' beneficial properties.
Producers of essential oils may use varying methods of how to concentrate plant extracts into oils. There’s a few important considerations prior to using them anywhere. First, check the quality; look for trusted producers that make pure oils without added chemicals. A helpful tip is to make sure that the latin translation is on the bottle. Without a trusted supplier, you’re more susceptible to an allergic reaction from the oils. Second, ask your doctor if you’re unsure whether essential oils are okay for you to use. Your doctor can help you decide if it’s safe and rule out any side effects, such as affecting your prescriptions or treatments as well as any potential allergies.
